St. Mary's Secondary SchoolThe  Sisters of Charity arrived in Baldoyle in July 1869, to begin their dedicated and caring work in the community.  In 1872 they established their Primary School and St. Mary's Secondary School opened its doors in September 1967 with an enrolment of 50 girls, mainly drawn from the Baldoyle area itself.

In 1972 the secondary school moved to its present premises- the former home of the Christian Brothers' juniorate, and began to enroll students from all over North Dublin.  Extensive renovation and building work followed and today's school offers all the latest facilities and opportunities to its students.  A Board of Management was established in 1992 and continues the excellent and caring work of the Sisters of Charity.

TODAY
The School Principal is Ms. Siobhan O'Connell. The day to day running of the school is managed by the Principal, Deputy Principal, Year Heads and Form Tutors.
