Dear Parents/Guardians,

I wish to inform you that the Assessment Morning for in-coming First Years will take place on Saturday, 12^th March, 2011.. The tests will commence at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm.

I suggest you arrive 15 minutes before the assessments begin. The school will be open from 9.15a.m. and entry is through the front entrance on Dublin Street.

Your daughter will be assessed in:

• English
• Maths
• General Reasoning
• Irish

Each test will last 40 minutes with a break after Maths. Your daughter will need an A4 refill pad, a blue/black biro, a red biro, pencil, eraser, pencil parer, and ruler.

As she will probably be hungry around eleven a.m., she should also have a drink and a snack.

At 9.45 a.m., while the girls are doing their assessment tests, there will be a short talk by school management during which you will receive an information pack.

If for any reason your daughter is unable to attend on the 12^th March, please contact the school Secretary at either of the above numbers.
