Sixth Year Graduation Class, May 2017
The graduation ceremony for the class of 2017 took place on Wednesday night, 24th May 2017 in the school hall. Our school hall was beautifully decorated by Art teacher Ms. Clancy and her team of talented art students with black and gold origami birds. The birds symbolised not only the growth of our sixth years during their time in St. Mary's but also represented a new journey; new dreams to follow.
The ceremony was organised by the Religion Department, Ms. O'Donnell, Ms. Sheridan and Ms. Murray who worked hard with the sixth year students to make it a memorable night for students, their families, teachers and management. Following the ceremony and presentation of certificates, Principal Ms Green invited students and their families for refreshments in the school canteen. This is a tradition that has built up over the years in St. Mary's, Baldoyle.
St. Mary's wishes the class of 2017 the best of luck in their Leaving Certificate exams.
And remember, 'no bird soars too high, if she soars with her own wings.'
