Ms. Mc Nally's Second Year Art Class - Animation Projects
The aim of this scheme was to explore observation skills and adapt it to a stop-motion animation exploring the transition from line into form, under the theme ‘Movement of the unexpected’
Stop motion is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.
The 2nd year pupils selected their own music for their stop motions, appropriate to their object and where shown how to position the camera to correctly take the photos of their object as it moved in small increments as they photographed each transition.
Apologies for some breaks in the animation which are due to a compatibility issue.
