On the 10th of April, the 2nd Years and Maths teachers, Ms. Keane and Ms. Sinnott headed off to the Outdoor Activity Institute in Larch Hill National Scout Centre.

Outdoor Activity Institute (OAI) has a combined experience of decades in activities and education.
Their instructors are trained to the highest levels and all have Garda Clearance and have also completed Child Protection courses.

The Project Maths Trail is great resource for schools and teachers of a variety of subjects.
Designed by Retired Maths teacher and school Principal James Marsden the Trial comprises more than 40 different Challenges. This outdoor practical visit brings to life the many areas covered by the Project Maths syllabus.


Grass Sledges, Obstacle Course, Target Shooting, Survival Skills were the favorites chosen by the girls.
