The visit was designed to help students to understand the multiple steps and insight into what is involved in the production of pharmaceutical products.
On our arrival at Allergan, the students were brought into a conference rooms and were shown a short video which briefly explained the role of the company and why Clonshaugh was the ideal spot for the location of the production site. Allergan is located 10 minutes away from Dublin Airport and Dublin Port. It is also close to the motorway.
After the video, the students were then split into 2 groups and were given lab coats, glasses, hair nets and covers for their shoes.
