Explanation of Attendence record
In addition to a teacher’s record keeping of attendance during each class, the school records attendance on three occasions during the day.
· The first attendance is taken at the start of the first class at 9 am.
· The second is when the Form Teacher meets the class at Roll Call (10.55 am).
· A third attendance check is taken at the start of the second last class (2.25 pm).
Your daughter’s attendance record is included with the Christmas and Summer Reports. An attendance record may be obtained anytime by contacting the Deputy Principal.
The school is under obligation to report students with poor attendance to the NEWB (National Education Welfare Board). Parents/guardians will be contacted if attendance becomes a source of concern and an attendance record will be provided.
The Attendance Record details your daughter’s attendance during the three attendance checks.
