Clothing Recycling 2017
St. Mary's participated in a fund raiser for the charity "Liberty". Liberty is a charity to raise money to support people suffering from drug addiction with rehabilitation. It raises its money recycling used clothes. The organisation provides employment, accredited training and rehabilitation supports to prepare those affected by drug and alcohol use for mainstream opportunities.
It was open to all students in the School to donate items to Liberty.
Some of the girls really enjoyed the opportunity to clean out their wardrobes and get the feel good feeling of being able to help those in need.
"It was good to know that we were helping people and also our School"
- Eve Heffernan, 4th Year.
