Sports Management Certificates
We were delighted to take part in the Sports Management Pilot Scheme run by Fingal County Council for Transition Years. The half year course ran every Monday from 1.30 to 2.50 when two Sports Officers, Owen McGrath and Noel McManus visited St. Mary's and looked at the various aspects involved in Sports Management and had to complete a number of sports related tasks both practical and theory. They studied and trialed many sports and organised and ran PE sessions with the First Years. The course proved extremely popular.
It was a pleasure to have Darragh O' Brien, TD, and Cllr. Eoghan O' Brien visit St. Mary's to award the Sports Management Certificates on 25 October 2018. Many thanks to Mr. Fennell for organising the event. Folowing the presentation, they later toured the school and discussed future progress plans with Ms. Greene and Mr. Moore.
