Geography Trip to Glencree, Co Wicklow 2018
Students undertook their Geographical Investigation Study in Glencree Co. Wicklow on Tuesday the 23rd of January.
This Investigation is a compulsory element of Leaving Cert geography course, and its worth 20% of overall grade.
Students had to ‘Test the hypothesis that geomorphic processes of erosion shape the landscape in a fluvial (river) with reference to a V Shaped Valley’ . This was done by a series of tasks completed in the upper course of the Glencree River. Students must now complete their own report booklet based on their findings on the day.
