Sixth year students attended the Higher Options Expo in September. There is an expansive variety of exhibitors at the expo, including Irish colleges, universities and institutes of further education (PLC), international universities, apprentice providers, Irish employers, the Defence Forces, Nursing Board, the Garda and much more.
Students have the opportunity to meet and speak directly with representatives from all of these education and training providers in one location. There is also a variety of lectures and presentations from the CAO, Colleges and industry professionals. All exhibitors provide information on their courses or recruitment policies.
On the day of Higher Options, the girls meet at Sutton Dart station in the morning. From there, they travel together to Sandymount station. After this it is a ten minute walk to the RDS building in Simmonscourt, where the expo is held.
