Induction Evenings
Various induction evenings for parents are held in St. Mary's every year. However, with Covid, these meetings are now held online. Letters (given to your daughter) and emails to you provide information on the meeting and login details. Texts are always sent to remind parents of the letter and email.
The First Year Induction Meeting is hosted by the Year Head and Form Teachers. It is an opportunity to ask questions and get information on how your daughter is settling in.
A Transition Year Meeting for both Parents and daughters is held each year regarding Transition Year and their trip to Achill. This meeting is hosted by the TY Co-Ordinator. There is also an Options Week, usually in early April, where presentations are made by teachers on the various subjects for Leaving Certificate. This is in advance of Transition Year Students choosing their subject options for Transition Year.
There is also a Sixth Year CAO Meeting for both Sixth Years and their parents/guardian is also held online since Covid
