Parent Teacher Meetings, 2021-2022
- Meetings are held between 4.15 pm and 6.45 p.m
- Pre Covid - Parent Teacher Meetings were held in the Sports Hall
- During 2020-2021 as per DES Instruction and HSE Guidelines, no PTMS were held. However, there was enhanced online reporting and an additional detailed report at Halloween
- For 2021-2022, as per DES Instruction an HSE Guidelines, no in-school PTMs were to be held before 22 October. However, in response to this, our Parent Teacher Meetings will be held online using Microsoft Teams and software Parent Teacher Meeting Organiser.
- Our recent Second Year PTM used this software. Parents logged in using their daughter's Microsoft Teams. Picked the teachers that they wanted to meet. A set of times was later generated at which to join a meeting with a teacher. Each meeting lasted just under 5 minutes. The feedback received has been extremely positive and the many advantages have been put forward - no need to visit the school, able to meet the teacher from home/work, still face to face, brief but informative meetings, no need to queuing to see a teacher, teacher available at the time given, private conversation, ....
