Third Year Curriculum

Our curriculum from Second Year into Third Year shows little or no change.

Students continue to do their core subjects and sit Junior Cert exams in the following
  • Maths 
  • Irish 
           Both Maths and Irish were grouped                 into Higher and Ordinary Levels at                 the start of Second Year
  • English
           English is grouped into Higher and                 Ordinary Levels in mid September
  • French
  • History
  • Geography
  • Science
  • CSPE

They continue with their option subjects doing two of the following - Art, Business, Home Economics or Music which they all sit for the Junior Certificate.

They also take Religion, SPHE and PE and have a Form Class with their Form Teacher on Wednesdays.
